Our Long-Haul Trucking (LHT) Program offers insurance designed to address the risks of owner/operators and small fleets with fewer than 10 power units, engaged in intermediate to long-distance trucking.

While we prefer writing packages, we will provide coverages on a monoline basis, except for General Liability. We sell packages consisting of Auto Liability, Auto Physical Damage, Cargo and General Liability. Limits range to $250,000 for Cargo and $150,000 for Physical Damage. Limits are available to $1 million for Auto Liability and General Liability (there are no deductibles with liability). Maximum Physical Damage deductibles are set at $5,000. The coverage territory for our LHT program is all states except Alaska, Hawaii, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Texas and West Virginia.

The program is designed for truckers with a good safety record as exemplified by a current U.S. DOT safety rating of "satisfactory," who operate in the general commodities sector. It is not available to sand and gravel haulers or those hauling hazardous materials or logs.
